Software Problems

We can provide you with the following software related services:

• Full virus, spyware, adware, rootkit, etc clean up. We can remove all of these but they can leave the operating system in a crippled condition and a full system restore might be necessary to restore full functionality.
• General clean up to speed computer up. In many cases the slowness is not due to infections but because of too many applications running.
• Troubleshooting installation problems. If you can’t install some software, or it installs but doesn’t function correctly we will correct it to function again.
• E-mail software, such as Outlook, troubleshooting.
• Consultation on chosing software.

We unfortunately can’t help in the following cases:

• Issues involving highly specialized software which are not generally available. For example: proprietary corporate software, custom made database applications, etc.
• Installation of software that is questionable as to legality, such as installation of Windows from a home made CD.
• Helping with any software that serves unethical or illegal means. For example software used for sending out spam e-mails, cloaking software used to hide questionable online activities, etc.
