Prices

Our price structure is very simple:

For on-site service:

$90/hr, counted in half hour increments. (I.E: 1/2 hour is $45, 1 hour is $90, 1.5 hours is $135, and so on…)

Trip charges are as follows:

  • $5, for Indianapolis Downtown jobs
  • $20 for jobs outside of our normal service area.

April 2011 addition: Due to the sharply rising gas prices we are going to add a $5 surcharge to any on-site service calls that take half an hour or less. So those calls will cost $50 instead of $45. Thank you for your understanding.

For in-shop (bring-in)

$60/hr, counted in half an hour increments, no other charge.

Note: Although we have a quick turnaround on our in-shop jobs we do not provide a “get your computer done while you wait” type of service because that would disrupt our work flows and slow down other jobs.

Remote assistance service:

$1 per minute.  To see the details on how this works please click on this link

Parts:

If replacement parts are needed to fix a problem we get that for you from local or online retailers for no extra charge. In case of a hard-to-find item we charge for the time spent on locating and ordering the item at the $60/hr rate. However we will advise you about this prior to engaging in the search.

Diagnostic:

Diagnostic is a half an hour service charge, ie: $30 in-shop, or $45 on-site. We count that toward the repair if you decide to have us repair your computer. For example, if you bring in a computer for diagnostic and we found that it’d require 1.5 hours of labor to get it done, and you approve that then we will bill only the 1.5 hours of repair, but if you decide that it’s not worth it then we bill the diagnostic fee of $30 (in-shop).

Quotes:

We are happy to give estimated quotes for services. If you contact us via the website (preferable) or by phone and give details on the problem that you have then we can give you an estimate. The actual charges might be more or might be less than the quote because it’s simply not always possible to predict how long solving a problem takes. However, we are usually very accurate on our quotes.
