Next Generation Email

About a week ago I got an email with a subject “How would the email look like if it was invented today?”. This caught my attention because I have been thinking that a reform in the world of email is long, long overdue. Now, Google tries to answer this question and they came up with what they call “Google Wave”.

I think this is a very much needed innovation and I already signed up for my Google Wave account (and got invited this morning ). In a nutshell this is tool that combines features of email, instant messaging and collaboration tools.

I’ll be testing Google Wave and give you an update. I just need to find someone else with a Google Wave account, so that we can “wave” to each other.
