How It Started

Computer Wizard was started in August 2005 by Laszlo Szenes, a computer expert.

He was working at a help desk position assisting people with their internet connection problems over the phone. He soon realized that he could do a lot more than that if he didn’t have to abide by “support boundaries” and if he could be right at the computers instead of trying to walk someone through steps. From that the idea was born to provide on-site computer service. A quick survey of people showed that there’s quite a bit of demand for this service.

So the business began. First by distributing fliers around the neighborhood from his bicycle and then visiting clients who called for help. The hard work of Laszlo brought in new customers daily. When these customers spread the word to friends, more and more calls came.

By end of 2007 the number of clients increased to over 500, and these were not only residential clients but several dozen small businesses which needed computer help to keep them going. Today the number of clients is well above 1,000.

Our goal is to became the most well-known and trusted computer service business in Indianapolis and the surrounding areas. We are well on our way to achieving this goal.
