A Happy Customer Who Saved Over $800

This is a recent story from a long term client who was looking for a new laptop because she called us before making a purchase she found a much better deal.

The client needed a full size laptop because the little netbook she bought turned out to be not fitting for her needs.

She looked around and called a place where they suggested her a laptop costing $1,600. Fortunately, before she’d make the purchase she called us and I talked with her for a good half an hour and found out what exactly she needed. As usual, it turned out she didn’t need anything more than a basic model – and of course, the salesman tried to sell her a computer loaded with features that she would hardly ever use, or utilize. I suggested to her to check out Dell or HP because from our experience they make the most dependable laptops at a reasonable price.

She got back with me next day and found an HP laptop that was on sale for $750. She told me the specifications of the computer and it sounded that it had everything that she’d need.

She bought the computer and a couple of days ago I helped her to connect it to her office network. She was very happy and enthusiastic about her new laptop. She told me that it’s just right for her and that she spent many hours on it and had no problems at all. She was also happy about not having to spend $850 more on the computer.

The moral of this story is that it’s worth asking us before making an investment in a new computer, or even a software. With the experience of having fixed over a thousand computers, we know what works and what doesn’t and that how to go about getting what you want in the most economical way.

I also ran into several times when someone purchased a software that wasn’t performing well and actually had an equivalent free software that worked much better. Even if it’s just $30: “Money saved is money earned”.
